Generator Barcelona Hostel

I chose this hotel for attending a business council because it provides computers for guests to use and free Wi-Fi throughout the building, which were extremely convenient for my work. The facilities were well-maintained and the Wi-Fi speed was reliable, allowing me to work efficiently during my stay.

I wished the hotel offered a business center or printing services, as I needed to print some documents for my work and it would have been more convenient to do so on-site.

I loved the funky décor and modern feel of the hostel. The individual lights and power sockets for each bed were a great idea. The location was also excellent, allowing easy access to the city center.

Ideal location for shopping and exploring, plenty of nearby dining options, supermarket across the property, reasonable price, well-planned and comfortable facilities.

This hostel provides a comfortable and clean place to stay with good value for money. Its location is very convenient, with easy access to public transport and close to the city center. The spacious rooms are well-organised and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The hostel offers various facilities, including a rooftop bar with a beautiful view and tasty food, as well as a movie room, smokers area, games room.

Some guests experienced issues with the staff, such as being misinformed about the payment system upon check-in or finding them unapproachable.

The hostel had a great location, just a short walk away from popular attractions and public transportation. the rooms were kept clean and the beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. the staff at the reception were helpful and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth and easy.

The small size of the rooms, especially the toilets and showers. It felt cramped and inconvenient.

I stayed at Generator for 4 nights while exploring Gràcia. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the metro stations. The dorm room was spacious and had its own sink, shower, and toilet. The lockers were a good size and there was extra space for bags. The bunk beds were sturdy and had their own power sockets and reading lights. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the hostel had a bar and breakfast room.

I do recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located near metro stations, this hostel offers clean and spacious dorm rooms with under-bunk lockers and individual power sockets. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The rooftop bar is a great spot to relax and enjoy the city views. The breakfast is worth the price. Plenty of storage space is available for exploring the city after check-out.

The location and atmosphere at Generator were great! We had a wonderful time socializing with other guests at the bar. Although the rooms were a bit tight, they were clean and comfortable. we recommend Generator as a fantastic spot for travelers.

We had an amazing stay here! The hostel was spotless, with a nice bar and convenient location close to a few metro stations. We were able to easily walk to many attractions in the city, and there were plenty of 24hr shops, cafes, and restaurants in the area. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially Maria on the check-in desk.

Who needs a daily cleaned room or toilet paper replacement? The lack of those truly added excitement to my stay.

Additionally, the price is reasonable for a room with 4 beds, and breakfast at a local bakery is included.

The internal patio, though small, was a delightful spot to soak up some sun and enjoy a quiet moment with nature. It felt like stumbling upon a hidden garden oasis in the heart of the city, a perfect escape from the bustling streets of Barcelona.
